Abu Dhabi, February 11, 2024 - The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC), in cooperation with G42 Healthcare, is participating in the MENATOX conference, taking place in Abu Dhabi City from February 8 to 11 at the Novotel Hotel, in the presence of Mr. Ahmed Jaber Al Sharif, Director of the Life Sciences Affairs Department.
The participation aims to engage with experts in the field, exchanging experiences and sharing the latest scientific findings in toxicology. This is facilitated through building strategic relationships and spreading awareness of the efforts and capabilities of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council’s Central Testing Laboratory Services Sector.
The conference features the involvement of various stakeholders in the field of toxicology, including the Department of Health. The Middle East and North Africa Association for Toxicology (MENATOX) is committed to preventing and managing poisoning and chemical exposure in the region.
The association's doctors and public health staff are advancing and advocating for the fields of medical toxicology, environmental health, and preparedness for chemical and radiation emergencies within regional health systems.
The annual conference draws hundreds of experts and professionals eager to enhance their understanding of clinical toxicology by engaging with peers and experts in the field.
The conference serves as a platform to present cutting-edge technologies, treatments, and research across various aspects of toxicology, encompassing forensic and analytical toxicology, military medicine, petrochemical sciences, critical care medicine, occupational health, and addiction medicine.
The Services Sector at the Central Testing Laboratory of the Council and G42 Healthcare collaborate to raise awareness about the significance of toxins and advance modern solutions and technologies in this domain.In a press statement regarding the participation of the Council’s Central Testing Laboratory Sector, Mr. Ahmed Jaber Al-Sharif, Director of the Life Sciences Department, expressed his delight in joining the MENATOX conference.
