Dubai, October 18, 2023: The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, is participating in the Gitex Global Technology Exhibition 2023, which is currently held at the Dubai World Trade Center from October 16 to 20, as part of the Abu Dhabi government pavilion, which encompasses 33 government entities.

The participation comes under the leadership of the Government Empowerment Department, which is responsible for enabling the digital transformation process at the Abu Dhabi government level.
As a part of the Gitex exhibition, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council and the G42 healthcare company. 
H. E. Dr. Helal Hamed Al Kaabi, Council Secretary-General, and Mr. Ashish Koshi, CEO of G42 healthcare company, signed the memorandum.
The MoU, which aims to provide council-delegated wastewater screening services to G42 Healthcare, is based on the original agreement signed between the parties.
Under the memorandum, the council authorized G42 Healthcare to manage monitoring and reference analysis of wastewater testing; the parties also discussed cooperation and partnership in future projects and services in wastewater testing.
The two parties are working to develop and modernize screening processes using advanced technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence, to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of operations, enhance the quality and safety of wastewater in Abu Dhabi, and excel in environmental and health monitoring in the region through advanced technologies. The two parties look forward to improving the efficiency of operations and the accuracy of results.
Signing the MoU is crucial to enhancing quality and conformity cooperation between the government and private sectors. This partnership contributes to achieving the strategic aspirations of Abu Dhabi to enhance the quality of products and services and improve environmental and health standards.
Based on the strategic vision of Abu Dhabi to implement an effective system for infectious disease prevention and control, in addition to developing decision-making through early warning, innovation, and artificial intelligence, the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, in collaborating with G42 Healthcare company, launched the “ Rashid” platform in line with the Environmental Vision 2030 of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and to support security, health, and environmental systems.
The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, in cooperation with G42 Healthcare, has launched the "Rasid” platform, an innovative integrated system to monitor risks and reference analysis of wastewater sample results.
This platform connects the relevant authorities to facilitate and accelerate decision-making through early warning using forecasting models and Artificial Intelligence to detect and monitor pathogens, health & security risks, and environmental pollutants and study data to develop response and prevention plans with the concerned authorities.
His Excellency Dr. Helal Hamed Al Kaabi, Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council’s Secretary-General said that the “Rasid” platform is one of the information centers related to the investigation and early detection of potential risks and provides critical databases and information to help make decisions and support early warning to combat any emerging and potential threat.
He stressed the council's keenness to introduce the public and visitors of the Abu Dhabi government pavilion at GITEX 2023 to its various services and innovative initiatives that provide digital government solutions within the integrated government services platform "Tamm" in line with the Abu Dhabi government's vision to provide security solutions according to international standards that ensure the protection of digital infrastructure, systems and data for a secure digital society.
He said that the participation of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council in GITEX 2023 aims to showcase the latest technology in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, identify its applications, and review the best practices applied in the technical fields supporting the council's services to upgrade the quality infrastructure system in various sectors in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
His Excellency. Helal Hamed Al Kaabi explained that the directives of the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, which raise the slogan "Quality for a better life", are in line with the objectives of the government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to participate in GITEX 2023 to provide digital government solutions that contribute to supporting government performance and enhance the quality of life in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Commenting on the memorandum of cooperation, Ashish Koshi said: "We are pleased to announce the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding with the Abu Dhabi Quality Council, which reflects the council's confidence in our capabilities, advanced solutions, and extensive experience. 
He noted that The agreement confirms our unwavering commitment to promoting environmental sustainability and our keenness to improve the quality of infrastructure in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and we are excited to harness our state-of-the-art resources and knowledge in monitoring management and reference analysis to screen wastewater efficiently and effectively.
