Abu Dhabi, March 07, 2023: The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC) highlighted 13 conformity programs in the energy sector while participating at the 48th 2023 Middle East Energy exhibition in Dubai at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) from March 7 to 9.
The Council said that its participation aimed to highlight its role in the energy sector and showcase its services such as developing technical documents and issuing conformity certificates for lamps, external lighting devices, solar photovoltaic systems, low-voltage electric panel products, air conditioning systems, chargers for electric cars, etc., before over 900 international suppliers and manufacturers of various energy products at the expo.
During the exhibition, the Council also reviewed conformity programs for the services of individuals working in the energy sector to ensure that they adhere to professional standards and requirements in their domains and have the capabilities and skills to work in the electrical and energy sector.
His Excellency Badr Khamis Al-Shumaili, Executive Director of the Compliance Services and Standards Sector, said that the Council always look forward to strengthen its strategic partnerships with the public and private sectors in Abu Dhabi on conformity plans to ensure safety, quality, performance of products in the markets, and its sustainable and optimal use.
He said that the Middle East Energy expo provided an opportunity for the Council to highlight the importance of the role QCC plays in supporting companies and experts in the industrial sector through appropriate conformity programs for products, enabling them to obtain certificate of conformity and a confidence mark that endorses the compliance of products with the required technical standards.
The conformity programs highlighted at the exhibition included for water-saving sanitary ware equipment, air and water cooling units, water flow rate regulators, solar energy heating, water collection equipment and systems, unified air conditioning systems, ozone-friendly air conditioning systems etc
