“Abu Dhabi, February 20, 2025” The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC) signed 5 memorandums of understanding with major defense industry companies during its participation in IDEX and NAVDEX 2025, which will be held at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Center from February 17 to 21.
The MoUs aim to enhance cooperation in the field of quality infrastructure, strengthen relations between the Council and companies by building strategic partnerships, exchanging scientific and technical knowledge, contributing to the promotion and development of security, safety, trade and industry in Abu Dhabi, in addition to enhancing cooperation between the Council and the concerned companies, exploring opportunities to enhance the provision of services with high efficiency, and developing all aspects of cooperation that achieve the objectives of each party and support governmental directives.
The signatories of the MoUs with ADQCC include AMMROC Centre, Rabdan Academy, NIMR, Tawazun Quality and Conformity, and EOS Advanced Technologies.
The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council also participates through its platform in the exhibition in order to highlight its vital role in the development and strengthening of the defense industries system. The council’s Emirates Metrology Institute offers a wide range of services, including calibration, merit testing programs, consulting, and training. The Emirates Metrology Institute is the National Reference for measurement for the United Arab Emirates. It has contributed significantly to improving various economic and vital sectors, including the military industry, by reducing the cost of services and the time needed to provide them, enhancing its production capacity and operational efficiency to support national industries, and enhancing its position in the international arena.
